Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of the members of Financial Plus Credit Union will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at the Ottawa Credit Union Building at 5:15 p.m.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for members to:
- Receive the reports of their Directors.
- Elect Directors for 2026.
- Give our members an opportunity to recommend new programs and services.
Union Ready Grant
We are proud to announce the launch of the Union Ready Grant—a new initiative designed to support students pursuing careers in the skilled trades. This grant is specifically tailored for individuals entering trade schools, registered apprenticeships, or union training programs.
Unlike traditional scholarships, the Union Ready Grant focuses on helping students cover essential startup costs such as tools, books, union dues, and certification fees. By removing financial barriers, we aim to empower the next generation of trades professionals and strengthen our local workforce.
The Union Ready Grant is open to high school seniors, recent graduates, and adult learners who are committed to building a career in the trades. Whether you're training to become an electrician, plumber, welder, or mechanic—this grant is here to help you get started.
We will be giving away five $1,000 grants.

Scholarship Application
Financial Plus will be giving away ten $1,000 scholarships and ten $500 scholarships for 2026-27 school year. Applications will be available at any of FPCU’s five offices or printed from links below. To apply for this scholarship, you must be a Financial Plus member who will be attending a Junior College, a four year University or a trade school in the fall of 2026. Contact any of our five offices for more details.
