Career Fairs
Financial Plus proudly participates in career fairs across our field of membership, typically engaging with students from 8th grade through high school. We provide handouts outlining job qualifications at FPCU and bring along our popular prize wheel for a chance to win fun giveaways!
Our Financial Literacy Specialist is joined by one or two branch employees to help students connect with familiar faces when they visit a branch in the future. These events spark great conversations about career paths in the financial industry.
Family Fairs
At community and school family fairs, our Financial Literacy Specialist and a small team of FPCU staff set up an interactive booth focused on Financial Wellness for all ages. We showcase everything from our Youth Clubs to our full range of services.
With engaging handouts, giveaways, and a visit from Wiley Wabbit, our booth is always a hit with families and a great way to introduce new members to the credit union.
Tours
Duration: 30-40 minutes
We love welcoming students and young adults to our Financial Plus Credit Union branches! These tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at how each department operates and how we serve our members. Students will learn where to go for specific banking needs and gain a better understanding of how a credit union works.
- Our goal is to make banking feel approachable and familiar for the next generation. Tours are open to all schools and youth organizations.
- Includes a fun, age-appropriate activity at the end, such as a word scramble or learning all parts of a check.
- Each participant receives a small gift.
